The Gilfenklamm / Cascate di Stanghe gorge stretches from the village of Stanghe to the Ratschings / Racines Valley and on to the hamlet of Jaufensteg that can be reached after an hour’s hike. The water presents itself in more different ways than you could imagine, from the gentle flow of a mountain creek to a wild thundering waterfall. The waterfall trail in Val di Fleres/Pflerschtal is called "Hölle" (in english hell) and lies right at the feet of the Tribulaun summit. The tranquillity in the valley end, the ionized air from the waterfall which purifies the respiratory tract and the sounds of the water calm the nervous system.

Another natural site of the Sterzing-Ratschings / Vipiteno-Racines region is the Moassl waterfall in the posterior Pfitschtal / Val di Vizze. The refreshing air and the calmness at the end of the valley make the rest zone around the Moassl waterfall a special place of energy amidst a beautiful natural setting. After a long hike, take off your shoes and dip your feet in the invigorating cold water of the stream before warming your feet in the lush green grass. Rejuvenation included.

Especially on hot summer days, the Burkhardklamm Gorge is a real insider tip. At the end of the Ridnauntal / Val Ridanna, the gorge can be reached after a short 45-minute hike. The wild glacier stream plunges thunderously down the steep rock faces. Follow the Panorama Trail, enjoy breath-taking views of the Stubai Alps, and experience the natural energy of water up close. Once you arrive at the Agelsboden dam, you can refresh your tired feet in cool mountain streams.
